About The Cat Corner

I have been volunteering at The Cat Corner since October 2007, It is a non profit, non kill cat rescue shelter. If you would like more information please visit the website.

My volunteer day consists of cleaning the cages, litter boxes, food bowls, floors, and anything else that is dirty, we make sure the cats have food and water, and that the cats are healthy. I then like to take pictures with other volunteers for the website, and help socialise the nervous cats.

About the cats on this page: the first cat pictured is Shivers, she was diagnosed with ear cancer a couple of years ago, she is not in pain, and is a happy cat, but she wont ever find a new home. The next cat at the bottom of the page is Danny, he is extremely loving and playful, he should find a home easily. Sunny is the beautiful fluffy black and white cat, he isn’t very trusting of humans, but he does like the other cats and especially the kittens. Patchie is another beautiful cat, she was found abandoned, she will approach you and ask for some attention but after a short while she decides she doesnt like it and will try to bite you, it is unlikely she will ever find a home. Blue has the stunning blue eyes, she is a little over weight and is on a diet, she is affectionate and friendly, she should be able to find a new home.
