RIP Romeo.

Romeo was one of the cats at the shelter where I volunteer at, He was diagnosed with Kidney failure last week, unfortunately he was unresponsive to his meds so today was taken to be put to sleep.
He was a great cat with a unique personality he had a few missing teeth so his tongue often hung out of his mouth which made him look even cuter. He was a semi permanent resident at our no kill shelter, as people dont like adopting older cats…
so RIP Romeo.

Great photo and Romeo is cute with his tongue hanging out. Thank you for helping out at a pet rescue shelter I wish everyone would consider doing that.

I have almost always adopted from shelters and almost all were older cats. I felt so bad that Romeo spent his time there. Just looking at his photo told that he was quite a character. I am so sorry about how he and a could have been forever family could have enjoyed and loved each other. It’s my guess but I bet Romeo was the hit of the shelter. I hope that his days in heaven are spent with a family that loves him and lots of grass to run in.
