Will and I both bought bikes a week and a half ago, we both decided on mountain bikes, although he bought a spare set of tires which are better for road riding, as he has been riding to work and it makes it a little bit easier for him. I have only clocked up about 20 miles so far, but he has ridden about 70, so I have a bit to go before I catch up with him.
My bike is the Trek 4500, its a women specific design so its got a shorter frame, which means it should be more comfortable for me. Will has the Trek 6000 which is a little bit more fancy, he has disk breaks and better suspension, it is mat black too which is nice looking. He has a carrier on the back so he can take his clothes and boots to work easily.
We bought a Bike rack so its easy to transport the bikes, as I don’t really want to ride on the road to much, there are a few trails near by, but we need to drive to them, we both bought some padded shorts for comfort and I bought a sports top which allows the sweat to evaporate quicker.
