I made Cookies!

Posted by Rachel on November 13, 2007

I use Bakers chocolate (by Kraft) for most of my baking, it melts easily and has a great taste. Bakers chocolate always comes with great recipes on the box, I love the recipe for the absolutely delicious melt in your mouth soft brownies.

Today however I decided to try the ‘Chocolate Bliss Cookies’ and WOW they are delicious and so simple to make. Kraft recipe site

  1. 2 (8 ounce) packages semi-sweet baking chocolate
  2. 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  3. 1/4 cup butter, slightly softened
  4. 2 eggs
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  6. 3/4 cup flour
  7. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Coarsely chop 8 of the chocolate squares and set aside.
  • Microwave remaining 8 chocolate squares in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min., stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
  • Add sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla; stir until well blended.
  • Add flour and baking powder; mix well.
  • Add the chopped chocolate
  • Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake 12 to 13 min. or until cookies are puffed and shiny. Cool 1 min.; remove from baking sheets to wire racks. Cool completely.
